Friday Nights LIVE!

Free Outdoor Concerts in Downtown Livermore
Tuesday Tunes & Friday Nights LIVE!

On Tuesday evening, June 4, 2013, the hot Latin jazz and salsa rhythms of El Desayuno will mark the return of an expanded popular summertime series of free outdoor concerts in the heart of downtown Livermore. “Tuesday Tunes” and “Friday Nights LIVE!” sponsored by the Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center will welcome 22 musical groups playing 30 concerts  on the Shea Homes stage in front of the Bankhead Theater, featuring everything from acoustic folk and Americana, to soul, jazz, and classic rock and roll. Free to the public, the concerts run from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. each Tuesday and Friday evening beginning in June and continuing through mid-September.

Following the return of El Desayuno for the re-launch of “Tuesday Tunes”, “Friday Nights LIVE!” opens on June 7th with the high-energy country rock sound of The Fred McCarty Band. Their appearance coincides with the 95th Annual Livermore Rodeo and kicks off a weekend of country western music inside the Bankhead that includes the sweet harmonies and fiery fiddles of the Quebe Sisters Band, as well as the return of famed cowboy troubadour Don Edwards.
